Tout aussi introspectif et envoûtant qu'Intimacy Ruins, ce nouveau voyage confirme le talent de grand navigateur de Fabien Larvaron (encore l'influence portugaise ?) capable d'aller dénicher des perles et de traquer la lumière au fond des eaux noires de la mélancolie.
Pas de changement de cap donc, de dépaysement soudain ni de gestes brusques et à l'arrivée, une sorte d'Americana gentiment dérangées du bocage (fol allier), un peu moins aride, un peu plus douce peut être : une espèce - rare - de dark folk auvergnat,, organique et habité comme on aime, que ne renieraient certainement pas Ellioth Smith, Will Oldham et Mark Kozelek, les grands-frères américains tant vénérés.

Equally introspective and haunting as "Intimacy Ruins", Jocari's first record, this new journey confirms the ability of Fabien Larvaron to go and find pearls and tracking the light in the deep black waters of melancholy .

No change of direction then, expatriation or sudden movements and sudden arrival, but a sort of Americana, of Auvergnean Dark Folk, organic and lived as one likes, that certainly does not disavow Ellioth Smith, Will Oldham and Mark Kozelek, the great-American brothers so revered.
